Peak Performance Holistic Therapies opened its doors January 1992 as the very first therapeutic massage establishment in the Ocean Beach/Point Loma area. Over the years, services have expanded to acupuncture and massage, cupping, Chinese herbal medicine, neurofeedback, vagus nerve stimulation, and Ayurvedic facial/skincare.
Owner and director, Danae Koolen is pleased with what Peak Performance Holistic Therapies has evolved into. I’d never done cupping before but tried it here and had a great response! It feels super weird and like nothing I’ve ever experienced but it moves the muscles in ways they’ve never moved before. I’d recommend trying it at least once to see how your body responds.
It’s also nice being so close to Sunset Cliffs. I always walk over and spend some time at the cliffs after my massage and it’s a great way to extend the relaxation.
